The Outlanders are excited to announce later summer hours at The Orbit Room.
The Monday night residency (every other Monday) will now be from 10PM – 1AM starting June 8, 2009. See performance schedule
The usual group, legendary super-group Kevin Breit and Sisters Euclid, who have held the Monday night post for almost thirteen years are taking the summer off (at least). The Outlanders have been asked to take their place indefinitely.
The Outlanders have been selected to play the opening night of this year’s Luminato Festival on June 5th.
“Luminato is an annual celebration of the arts where Toronto’s stages, streets, and public spaces are infused with theatre, dance, classical and contemporary music, film, literature, visual arts, and design. …and this is how his story goes is getting play on CBC Radio! So far Fresh Air (Weekends, 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m in Ontario) and Saskatchwan Weekend (Weekends, 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. in Saskatchewan) are the early adopters.
Radio host Jaymz Bee will be interviewing me about The Outlanders and spinning some tracks from our album. Airing between 6pm and 8pm on Saturday, March 14 online or 91.1FM in the Toronto area.
The Outlanders will be performing a regular Monday night gig at the Orbit Room (580 College St.). Starting January 26, The Outlanders will be performing the 2nd and 4th Mondays each month starting at 7:30PM. Click here for press release.
The Outlanders will be releasing our CD …and this is how his story goes at the Orbit Room on October 30. Our CD will be available for purchase! Tickets are at the door $10 for admission or $20 for admission, CD and an adult beverage.
